Online Workshops

Many of the features that make products accessible to people with disabilities also provide increased convenience and flexibility for people without disabilities. To illustrate this to the IT industry, Dis-IT partner organization the Ideal Group developed an online workshop about the broader business benefits of accessible IT design. The workshop was first delivered to groups of (1) product developers, (2) marketing managers, and (3) senior managers. In response to interest from the telecommunications industry, we also developed customized workshops for several of Canada’s largest telecommunications companies. Another presentation was delivered to students enrolled in an information systems development program at a college in Atlantic Canada.
